Seeing Red is a dress inspired by the vibrancy and the wildness of the 60s, and the age of feeling groovy. This dress has a slight bohemian edge with the flow of the dress and the gathering along the waist line. The bow in the the back gives the dress a whimsical flare. This dress is for women between the ages of 18-25 for semi-formal functions such as parties, weddings and dates.
This dress was made using a McCall's M6987 pattern D. A medium weight cotton woven was used to get the slight bohemian elegance in the drape of the dress. The bodice is fully lined. Only a 201 lock stitch machine was used to make the dress.
